The First Session: What to Expect

1. A Deep-Dive Consultation

Before you even break a sweat, we’ll have a relaxed, judgment-free conversation about your health background, lifestyle, and goals. This may include:

  • Medical history or previous injuries
  • Sleep, stress, and eating habits
  • Your comfort level with exercise

2. Movement & Mobility Screening

Next, you’ll go through some light movement assessments. These aren’t tests to “pass or fail”—they’re simply observations to see how your body moves:

This allows us to identify any imbalances, tightness, or areas that need extra care as we build your program.

3. Gentle, Functional Exercises

You’ll begin with simple, beginner-friendly exercises that focus on restoring basic strength, coordination, and body awareness. Examples may include:

  • Bodyweight movements (like squats or bridges)
  • Core activation drills
  • Mobility and flexibility work
  • Breathing and stability exercises

4. Real-Time Coaching & Support

Throughout your session, you’ll be coached on proper form, breathing, and pacing. Your trainer will offer hands-on guidance, thoughtful corrections, and encouragement to help you feel confident in every movement. If anything doesn’t feel right, we’ll modify it immediately.

5. Recovery & Reflection

After your session, you’ll be guided through gentle cooldown exercises and provided with recovery tips—including hydration, rest, and light movement suggestions.

We’ll also reflect on how the session felt, what worked well, and what adjustments are needed. This two-way feedback ensures your training always honors what your body needs day to day.
